Invisalign clear aligners

Straighter teeth, planned on a screen before the first tray

Clear aligners at Suite 660 on Buena Vista Rd, started with a digital scan instead of putty.

Chapter 01

Who clear aligners tend to suit

Invisalign is most often used for crowded teeth, gaps between teeth, and mild bite problems. Adults who skipped braces as teenagers and teens who'd rather not wear metal both come in asking about it.

It isn't the right tool for every mouth. Some bites are better handled another way, and Dr. Kaur will tell you if aligners will work for yours or if she'd suggest something different. That conversation costs you nothing but a visit.

If you've lived with a crooked tooth for years, you're in good company. Straighter teeth are also easier to clean, which matters for the long run as well as for photos.

How it starts here: a scan, not a tray of putty

Our office uses an iTero digital scanner. A small wand passes over your teeth and builds a 3D picture on the screen, so there's no impression putty and no gagging on a mouthful of material.

The part people remember is the Invisalign outcome simulator. The chairside monitor shows a simulated view of where your teeth could end up, and you can look at it from the chair, with Dr. Kaur beside you, and ask questions as you go.

Treat it as a planning picture rather than a promise. How teeth actually move varies from person to person, and Dr. Kaur will be straight with you about what the simulation can and can't tell you.

Chapter 03

Living with aligners day to day

The usual guidance is to wear aligners about 22 hours a day, taking them out to eat and to brush. That is the part that does the work, so it helps to treat the case on your counter as a habit rather than an afterthought.

Rinse them, brush them gently, and keep them in their case rather than wrapped in a napkin, since that's where aligners most often go missing. You'll move through a series of trays and check in with the office along the way.

Most insurances are accepted at Suite 660, and financing is available through Cherry, so the cost doesn't have to arrive all at once. We don't publish prices here, because a real figure needs a scan. Call (661) 454-7600 or ask a question through the contact page.
